U.S. Africa Command confirmed that American aircraft ‘conducted a series of airstrikes against al Shabaab in the vicinity of Bariire in central Somalia’ between Aug. 1-8.  between August 1-8, 2025.

I have a simple question based on my “reporting” in my recent NLJ article, U.S. Air Force Targets Cybertrucks. Did we neutralize an al-Shabab Cybertruck threat or are we striking al-Shabab to preemptively thwart the al-Qaeda offshoot’s acquisition of angular electric trucks?
