Replied to A Tribute To Charlie Kirk by Pascal-Emmanuel Gobry (policysphere.com)
We're sorry. We can't write the regular briefing today. Like many of you, we knew Charlie Kirk. The political ramifications of this horrible murder, this act of political terrorism are, frankly, impossible to fathom.

I read this very nice post from Pascal-Emmanuel Gobry’s PolicySphere newsletter (it comes with my recommendation and has a hidden RSS option) collecting remembrances of Charlie Kirk after he was assassinated while speaking at Utah State University on September 10, 2025. I second Mr. Gorby’s introduction. Josh Blackman’s On Charlie Kirk’s Assassination is also worth reading as he approaches the horrible event from the perspective of someone who has endured some campus unpleasantness while speaking.
