I learned about OpenClaw/Moltbook somewhere in the area of last week in a story about its security issues. Immediately after, I saw absurd stories about its so-called social network for AIs, which I assumed was its attempt to distract from negative stories. I agree with Rodrigo Ghedin’s opinion that “the press is doing a disservice by legitimizing this nonsense.” I also agree with his simple advice for normal people regarding Moltbook/OpenClaw: “[D]on’t use it.” Fortunately, unlike some other “AI” implementations, it is easy to avoid using Moltbook/OpenClaw (or whatever they are calling it when you happen to read this).
Rodrigo Ghedin’s Strong Take On OpenClaw/Moltbook
Regarding Moltbook and its foundation, OpenClaw, I will limit myself* to giving one piece of advice: don't use it.
